Mia and Daniel’s story began in an unlikely (but fitting for them) place: a spin class at Steel House Cycle in Pittsburgh in 2022. Covered in sweat and catching their breath, they somehow managed to strike up a conversation — and hit it off immediately. What started as a chance encounter quickly turned into months of fun, easy, and entertaining dates.

In January 2023, they decided to make it official. Just eight months later, life threw them a curveball when Daniel accepted a job opportunity back in his hometown of Los Angeles. After four months of long distance, Daniel convinced Mia to give LA a chance — and she decided to embark on a new journey, packed up her life, moved across the country, and the two began their new chapter together in California.

Over the past two amazing years, while settling into their Santa Monica apartment and growing in their new careers, Mia and Daniel have enjoyed exploring their city, taking weekly beach walks, traveling the world together, discovering new restaurants, and cheering on the success of Dining With Damian. It was in that cozy, exciting, and adventure-filled life that Daniel decided it was time to give their relationship another new title: fiancés!

In August 2025, just after a storm passed and with only the two of them and their incredible photographer — Julia, Daniel’s sister — Daniel got down on one knee on an island in Hvar, Croatia, and popped the question.

They’re embracing this next chapter with excitement and gratitude, and they are thrilled to celebrate this next step with all of you!
